The setting of the cottage was peaceful and secluded, perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. The cottage itself was well equipped with everything we needed, and we were even greeted with a lovely gift of wine and biscuits. The games room was a great addition, offering lots of entertainment options. The location was also ideal, with easy access to local attractions like Minsmere, Dunwich, and Aldeburgh. we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it for couples or families looking for a peaceful retreat.
While the cottage was generally clean and comfortable, there were a few minor issues. The beds were not very comfortable, and could use some updating.

This place was absolutely amazing! The welcome pack was mind-blowing - a bottle of wine and delicious biscuits! The property was well cared for and in a super location. The only small thing was one bedroom was next to the road, but the tractors were very early risers! The outside was labeled, making it easy to find. The whole place felt cozy and generally clean. We're already planning our return trip! The location was quiet and perfectly placed for local attractions. It had everything we needed for self-catering. The showers worked well and the lounge space was a good size. The peacefulness of the property and surrounding farm land was jaw-dropping. Plus, we loved seeing the pig farm nearby and a beautiful white owl in the front garden. It was a truly unforgettable weekend and we hope to come back in the future.

The Wood Shed - E1919 was a charming little escape. Beautiful surroundings, cozy interior with exposed beams, and a lovely wood burner. My kids were entertained by the nearby pig farm and we even had a visit from a white owl!
Just wish they had provided instructions for the wood burner and a slotted spoon for my poached eggs. Oh, and a laundromat recommendation would be great!

The private bathroom in my room at The Wood Shed was absolutely amazing. It had a lovely bath and shower combo, perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking. It made me feel like I was pampering myself in a luxurious spa!
While everything was great, personally, I found the selection of TV channels a bit limited.
